Yes, it is fast-paced and content-heavy, but it actually teaches you about construction in a tangible way. There are a lot of resources provided which can become overwhelming, the key is to focus on getting your information from one place, you can always add more later on. In-class activities are far more relevant to assignments than lectures are, and in my experience, tutors were helpful. Take as many notes as you can; even if you haven't got anything to show, come to class and take notes. If you lapse you can go off-track very quickly, so just absorb as much info as you can in-class even if you have trouble starting. Some knowledge of Rhino is needed, but it's basic compared to what you need to pass a studio subject.

Very fast-paced subject with an enormous content load where tutors expect you to know loads about construction. The lecture content covered loads (although the lecturer did just read off the powerpoint), however, the assignments only covered a portion of this content so you were expected to identify what was relevant and what wasn't. Ridiculously high standards for the first construction subject architecture majors take, and I left classes feeling very lost and stupid if I didn't follow what was going on because my tutor was very impatient.

terrible assignments that don't improve your knowledge at all.

Waste of hecs debt, don't really get anything out of it. Assignments are really hard as you are magically expected to be a boss at Rhino or AutoCAD plus staff do not teach you anything. Good luck... you'll need it.

assignment is a lot of work. Have to stay on top of weekly tasks

good starting point on learning material and structure. However the lecture content is not well related to assignments and exams. Exam is hurdled
