Loved this subject and the experience of staying at Dookie for a week. The subject was taught over a week during the winter break. It was quite cold up at Dookie and there is not much heating, so bring warm clothes. Food provided at Dookie was ok and the portion sizes were massive - a bit ironic when you're sitting in the dining hall after a lecture about food waste. Content for this subject was really interesting and the lecturers engaging. Although an intensive subject, it does not feel too rushed. We covered some cool topics like edible insects, native foods, the future of agriculture, and sustainable farming. Assessments include a group debate during the intensive week - plenty of time is given to prepare and debate topics are pretty much covered in some of the lectures.

Great subject at Dookie!!! Interesting lectures and the week at Dookie is a lot of fun. The exam however is a long time after the teaching period which is a bit annoying.
