This subject is incredibly interesting. Each week focuses on a different medium of East Asian art from Korea, Japan and China, including examining architecture and landscape art. Mark is an engaging lecturer and tutor, often taking the class into the object labs to examine a variety of objects such as woodblock prints or ink painting replicas. Two of the assignments were quite unusual - they were not essays, but rather exercises in applying knowledge learnt about city planning and landscaping - but still hard. Overall a great subject with great feedback given as well.
