Reviews

this is a review of build-your-own metaphysics. I really enjoyed this class! It’s a pretty technical look at most areas of metaphysics, which is the study of what exists. We went over time, causation, universals (like, does the colour red exist?), particulars, and modality, as well as looking at the metaphysics of kant, plato, lewis and African philosophy/documented aboriginal philosophy. I thought the class was super clear and explained a lot of really complicated things very easily. There are /a lot/ of readings for this class. I did all of them, but it took me like 3 hours each week to get through. So, if you like to always do the readings, just be careful. I think this class is definitely a must for philosophy students. I took a couple of points off cause we didn’t look at persistence or events which im really interested in.
