Reviews
It's online and content is rather dry. A simple prerequisite, that's it.

Grade: H1 83. Not fun and not really a WAM booster either. A very boring subject to take. Can't really recommend this unless you either have an interest in law or its relevance to your own interests in business. 80% staked on the exam is not cool either. Found myself binging old shows like the walking dead while copying from ppt slides. One tip is to definitely make a google doc containing all relevant content (mine ended up being 40000 words+ and 158 pages long) to ctrl f during the three online open book assessments. The subject is not difficult, but it is certainly not enjoyable.

I took this online so cannot say much about the experience with the subject. I took this as a prerequisite, definitely not my kind of subject. Wouldn't call it a wam booster either. Overall, it is a really straightforward and a bit bland subject to take.

This subject was great fun! I would strongly recommend anyone interested in law to do it.

Straightforward but I found it pretty dry. Only a WAM booster if you are willing to put in some work. However, it was well-run.

I would not say this is an easy subject for H1 We got short-answer questions in the final exam this semester so the time management of the exam is quite difficult. Overall the course content is very useful, recommend for students who interested in law.

I loved this subject! It was so straightforward and the lecturer was always so keen in classes. The biggest plus point is that you can take a sheet of notes into the final exam - this is beyond helpful. Overall, an easy H1 and worth it!

This subject is pretty well known for being an easy subject with the assessments consisting entirely of multichoice quizzes. It's a good WAM booster but can be a bit dry at times (especially if you've done Legal Studies in highschool)- I would still recommend it if you're interested in either business or law. I used my cheat sheet to cover the cases, which was super helpful in the exam. As long as you've got a good set of notes, you can do well pretty easily in this subject.

If you've done Legal Studies in VCE this subject is a pretty easy H1 if you're prepared to put in a little work. As long as you stick with the lectures and make case summaries it'll be super easy. Content and lectures is quite dry at times but if you can get through it all, the exams and tests aren't too hard. Only thing is beware of the final exam since its 80% of your mark. Could've gotten a 95 in this subject if I didn't lose all motivation at the end of the semester.

Was ok but I found the lecturer really so so boring and honestly no offence but annoying. She just read off the slides which might I add had CHUNKS of paragraphs. If I wanted to read paragraphs why would I pay 1000% instead of just buying a book? The textbook was probably the only reason I did fine in this subject, and I ended up not even watching the last lecture. I found the exam fine and mc made it easier, there was extremely minimal work other than that except for 2 tests worth 10% each. SO I basically did no work at all expect for write my notes, but overall this subject made me so frustrated and drained all my energy because the lecturers voice was so annoying and she talked SOOOO slowly (I put it on 2x the speed and it was still slow) and way too much stuff was on the slides to actually be engaging. I zoned out in every lecture (it was online though) and got really angry trying to listen. IT was not a fun subject whatsoever and I would say I hated it but I did manage to do better than all my other subjects in it (im doing science) and it was thatttt bad but just pretty unbearable for me.
