Botany Grade -H1 This subjects is soooo easy such a wam booster. It’s not hard at alll and if you put in effort you can easily get 95+. MST - only on module 1 which is amazing it’s a few short answer and multiple choice literally module 1 is photosynthesis and cellular respiration I got 98%. Do practice quiz on lms and as many practice questions I did like 10 practice mst , make you own practice mst questions. Know the difference between long and short wheat. Report- based on sun and shade report. I got 95%. Make sure your figure caption is really detailed, what stain was used, magnification of microscopes, what photo is showing. Method, don’t simply blurt a procedure list rather format in past tense in a way that can be replicated by professional, ie to ensure effective restraining glyerol was utilised. Presentation - again super easy got 80% make sure your engaging answering and asking questions Exam - easy straight forward just memorise lecture notes and do practice exams only module 2,3,4 relevant Organisation could be a bit bette, ed discussion was essentially dead and no one posted but don’t be afraid to ask question bhawana is so cute and friendly. The organisation of this subject is also not that great, most of the time I was having to ask them give details about exam, mst etc.

This subject is basically just high school plant biology with a couple of extra bits. I recommend it as a fairly easy wam booster and breadth

Practicals were very well taught in this subject. The small class size enabled a much more personal style of teaching to occur, similar to highschool ( the prac instructor knew us all by our first names). Also ment that we received really detailed feedback. Exam was a really annoying format. The whole thing was short answer questions listed on a double sided page which you would answer in a seperate script book. questions covered all topics in lectures and were very broad, which ment you needed a very thorough understanding of each different topic. make sure you take advantage of small lecture sizes by asking questions throughout the lectures.
