The content isn't hard, there is just a lot of it. This subject is very interesting because you'll touch on topics you learn in other units (i.e. biology/biochem/chemistry) but understand how technology is used to facilitate them. So its a good unit to take alongside other science units. The exam questions aren't hard, but there are only 5 questions in the MSTs and exam, so if you don't study thoroughly, missing out on one question might affect your marks. Lectures are boring but tutorials are useful in telling you what concepts to focus on. Overall, a moderately challenging unit.

This subject was pretty poorly run, and lectures were very boring. Wasn't too difficult to get good marks, however MST and exam was weighted very highly for very few questions.

Content can sometimes get a little boring, especially when it comes to plants. But forums are quite interesting, and the reports are fairly easy to score in.

I really enjoyed this class. There was a lot of memorizing but also a lot of interesting facts especially during lectures regarding stem cell

Covers a range of materials fairly deeply. A lot of memorization is required for the exam with tutorial materials being very helpful. Overall an interesting subject but sometimes the 2 hour lectures can get monotonous and boring
