Latin 3 has a single timetable for both first-year and second-year students, and all three classes are run by Andrew, who is a very knowledgeable teacher. Generally, the small class is cozy and chill. Lectures are interesting but are not very relevant to any of the assessments. However, weekly grammar assignments, building on weekly readings on grammar done in your own time, provide regular feedback on your progress. Translation classes prepare you for the final translation test, which is moderately difficult, but you don't get any feedback. You also receive minimal feedback on the final essay, which was the most discouraging assessment since almost no time was spent during the semester on writing one. Overall, you don't need much revision as only the translation test requires some memorisation.
