Although I found the content very dull and not to my liking, I found the subject well run and the tutors and teaching staff lovely and engaging. If you have an interest in the area it is defiantly a good subject, but if you don't, don't do it.

My favourite subject from last semester!! Highly recommended as the lectures and tutorials were an A++. They all tried their best to make it fun. It was so informative and it really opened my eyes to things and issues I've never considered before. Assessments were also doable and easy, I managed to get an H2A which isn't too bad.

Great subject as an introductory to cultural studies linking to media. Carol (head tutor) is an amazing tutor, super understanding, supportive and open to any discussions! I loved the blog assessment! super chill with how they mark it and allowed me to express my writing and presentation creativity! Readings are not too hard and were discussed in tutes and referred to in weekly lectures. Grace delivered live lectures well with videos! Overall, really interesting content! Great subject for first year!

Hannah was a great lecturer, and the content was engaging but also easy to follow. Carol was an exceptional tutor and I felt really supported throughout the entire subject. Assessments were straightforward and relevant to the lectures. Pretty easy to do well if you do the readings and show up to class. Would recommend!

The content was fascinating, the lectures were interesting and the tutorials were very engaging. Unfortunately, the standard of our assignments that was expected was disconnected from the standard of the lectures and tutorials. I did all of the readings, attended and watched all of the lectures and participated heavily in tutorials and used everything from that in my assignments and still got an H2B average.

The lectures are very fast with little consolidation. I personally hated the content. The tutorials and tutors were fantastic however.

Poorly taught and rather boring. I got the impression the lectured hated her job.
