Great subject! A hands-on and focused approach to the broad and 'hot' topic of machine learning. The optimisation theory side of the subject also helps you understand what's going on a lot better and fits well. Just be warned the lecturer does have quite high standards so do your best to keep up and don't get too worried about low mid-semester test scores.
