As an arts student, I actually found most of the content interesting but that could be because of my love for the environment. The group project and the site visit was both a memorable time for me but also the bane of my existence, so choose your group mates well. Did not like the practicals but overall a relaxed subject with a range of assessments for different kinds of students.

Quite easy and chill subject, with just tutes and lectures and a final assessment rather than an exam. I found the lectures mostly useless, as my tutor summarised the content succinctly and was more engaging, but depends on your style of learning. Also note that the majority of the assessment is related to group work, so teamwork is key.

Easy subject if you have studied Geography before

Pretty straight forward and easy subject. Alexis is a great lecturer but some of the other lecturers were really boring. Also my tutor was terrible. Assessments are all well explained and easy to do well in, as long as you study for the tests.

A good subject, a good introduction to the natural environment and four spheres. Many different lecturers which vary in quality from very good to not so good. Assessments were relatively straight forward and Alexis is a champ, gets work back to you in a few days.

A pretty relaxed subject. Some of the lectures were pretty boring and drone on for ages, but the content otherwise wasn't too bad. Tutes were pretty chill. Tip: study hard for the tests - they're hard! Though luckily not worth much. Also remember to write minutes for each group meeting or you'll lose unnecessary marks.
