Business finance is an interesting subject that challenges you. It is also a core module for finance students and a stepping stone for the 3rd year core modules. I found Buisness finance easy at the start and it gets more challenging week by week. It is important to understand the fundamentals of it and th mid semester and final exam is tricky. Overall a great subject for those who love finance.

My hatred for this subject is based purely on the fact that I hate finance. If you like finance, this subject is definitely for you. The textbook is useful for understanding concepts that are a little hard to get. Understanding the concepts and practicing questions will definitely get you far. The assignments are take home so you can really score on them which helps you boost your grade.

I just love this subject! It is my favourite and both the mid sem and final exams are manageable as long as you keep up with all the lecture materials and exercises!! :))

2015 Sem2 was a tough semester. Questions' style are quite predictable.

The mid semester was very difficult and it is hard to get mark higher than average unless you are well prepared! The parts of Tax was so difficult, you cannot easily get satisfied mark for this subject unless you work hard enough !

I was a tutor at the University of Melbourne for this subject. This subjects introduces more finance concepts and calculation. Such as pricing bonds and equity. You will be introduced to CAPM, dividend growth model and how to value bonds. You also would learn how firms evaluate their projects, when to take it and when to reject it! This is a great subject for people who loves finance.
