For food science students, this subject goes hand in hand with Advanced Food Analysis (FOOD30008). Unfortunately for them (and for me), both of these subjects are the worst subjects I've ever taken in my 3 years at Unimelb. For those in their 1st/2nd years as a food science major, PLEASE keep your expectations low for this subject as it is uncoordinated and all over the place. The only reason I gave it a 2 star and not a 1 star is because relative to Advanced Food Analysis, this is a bit better. TLDR: Worst subject I've ever taken, unfortunately a core subject for food science majors. If you are in another major and want to enroll in a food science subject, take this one over Advanced Food Analysis or take one of the nutrition subjects
