Subject covers a different revolution or rebellion / rebel or revolutionary each week. Thus this subject has a wide historical scope and also goes from being very figure oriented some weeks to covering a very extensive movement others. In total since first week is an intro and last is review (more like giving you reflective essay prompts), you have 10 case studies. One con is Major assignment is the middle of the semester which is a bit annoying as you may want to cover a topic not lectured about yet, which you can, it just seems more daunting. Although pros to this were that lots of resources were available from the extra readings sheet released at the start of the semester and that the reflective essay at the end of the semester just suits the subject well and thus is fun to write. Content covered is changed slightly each time but highlights for me were Gandhi, Assange and the Suffragettes. Was watching Vinland Saga at the time so reading about Gandhi was so cool.

Great interesting subject. You won't be disappointed, even if you have little to no knowledge in history you will be fine in this class.
