Hi there, I am currently doing my PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science, and I am a tutor...
Reviews
One of the best subjects I've ever done. Lectures and readings were structured well and made sense. Readings, although a bit dry at times, were highly doable and readable. Lecturers were amazing as they brought a good vibe to the class. And tutorials were really nice as it was a good place for group discussion and making friends.

I enjoyed doing this subject a lot! I thought it fit well in the History and Philosophy of Science discipline. The lectures were interesting and built on top of each other well. The assigned readings were so interesting and helped me gain a richer, deeper perspective of the relationship between religion and science. The assessments were manageable (2 x 1,000-word essays and 1 x 2,000-word essay) and adequate detailed feedback was provided. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in having their worldviews challenged.

Phenomenal subject. Would highly recommend for anyone with an interest in discussions related to the existence of God, and/or the implications of religious belief. The balanced approach to the main arguments is probably this subject's greatest strength. Tutorials were second to none. Ticked every box in my opinion.

Extremely interesting unit. The cohort was split between science and arts students, so there's a mix and the lecturers recognise that - the marking isn't too harsh on relatively weak essay writing skills and the tutors/lecturers are always eager to help. Make sure to actually attend the lectures, sometimes the recording is paused when a question is asked and important points aren't recorded.

Awesome subject that I felt was able to really un-package the philosophical/historical relationship between science and religion in a non-biased way. Highly recommend it if you want to get a more holistic view of your faith/atheism. Assessments are entirely based off lecture content/tutorial readings. They are straightforward if you keep up to date with course material.

Fascinating and enjoyable subject. Because of the extremely wide scope of the material and topics covered, some topics would have benefited from being more fleshed out some more, but if you do the readings its fine. Assessments are very clearly laid out, and marked highly if you follow the formula.
