Reviews
Lecturer and tutors Matteo and Elena are passionate and motivated which creates a great environment. Classes at least when I did it were fairly small compared to some other language subjects, 30ish people in the subject and two tute and seminar times, which is great for asking questions and getting to know classmates and the teachers. Lectures were mainly based around like a crash course in Italian history with some phonology towards the start, tutes were speaking practice with different prompts. Tutes were probably the most enjoyable part usually consisting of listening to a story in Italian and recounting with your table using various means like drawing a picture or acting it out. Also homework of reading a chapterish a week which can be a bit of a time sink but really helps comprehension. Overall great vibes and assessment were at a good level and fairly straightforward, highly recommended!
