I do think this was an improvement from Korean 2. I actually really enjoyed the classes, my classmates were great, the tutors were very friendly and engaged and were more than willing to answer questions or just chat. There was much more cultural content, and classes had more interactive activities that were quite fun (such as videos, games etc). It followed the same structure as the previous classes, we did touch on past grammar concepts a bit. The assignments were relatively okay, but are graded strict I think so make sure you don’t leave them until the last minute. The exam was difficult and felt way above the level that we had been communicating at in class, but this seems to be a trend in Korean I feel. If you’re hoping for a wam booster, this subject probably isn’t for you. I still think there was some communication issues, and we never got some marks back lol. be prepared to encounter some of the same issues that made Korean 2 such a stressor, but overall it was actually okay. I still don’t know whether I would recommend it though.
