Do NOT do this subject if you have an AAP or disability, the coordinator is not accommodating of extensions or exam allowances at all. You will have to fight for what you're entitled to and it's exhausting, especially if you struggle with chronic illness (like me). Apart from that, the content is very well organised and there's a lot of resources provided (weekly tutorial questions, questions at the end of each topic, heaps of practice stuff for the exams, message boards, etc). If you don't mind the dry subject matter and don't mind having to teach yourself a little bit you'd probably enjoy this subject. But seriously - don't do it if you have a disability lol. You will have regrets.

This subject is pretty boring and I've struggled with it but that's more to do with my inability to keep up with the content. If you attend the live lectures every week, do the weekly tute sheets and lab, it's overall not too bad and you should find it pretty manageable. But staying on top of the content is a must!! (because right im in over my head trying to cram everything :/ ) Also Yaoban is such a fun lecturer so if you hate the subject at least you have fun watching his lectures :)

As several people have previously said, Rheanna made what would otherwise be an uninteresting subject enjoyable and manageable. A tip I found useful is to be active on the discussion board, read it and ask questions. She's really approachable after lectures and active on the discussion board. Simply do what you're supposed to (listen to lectures, go to tutes, practice textbook questions) and the final exam will be easy.

Rheanna was a really, really good lecturer and made the 'not so interesting' content, bearable. she was also very responsive on the discussion board. overall quite a straight forward subject and one of the easiest biomed subjects to get a H1 in. We got a lot of guidance for our lab test so that was easy as well.

Rheanna was fantastic and explained things really clearly and went into more detail when needed! All of the assignments were really fair and the Sem 2 lab test was quite easy (compared to the nightmare in Sem 1). The content really isn't that bad so long as you stay on top of everything. I recommend using the course notes as a source of study~ they're awesome! Overall this was far easier than Math for Biomed, and a plus is that the lectures are quite slow so you can easily watch them at 2x speed in 20 minutes ;)

This subject has been the easiest biomed subject I've done so far!!! We had Rheanna as our lecturer and she was AMAZING! She explained the content extremely well and made the content very engaging and easy to understand. Pretty easy to get a H1 if you study and keep up with the workload. The content is quite repetitive, so once you understand the basics, you just need to know how to apply it to different scenarios.

Lab test was just a mess but overall was ok. The subject content is pretty dry but H1 is doable.

Just... No.

Not the most riveting subject, but definitely not as bad as people say. The content is straightforward and it is fairly easy to do well overall. That being said, keeping up with lecture content is absolutely crucial if you want to do well on the weekly quizzes. The lecturers assigned to teach EDDA are excellent (especially Yaoban Chan - what an incredibly inspiring man). The resources are fantastic, especially the course textbook which is pretty much all you need (provided online, or sold at the CO-OP) and the tutorial sheets. Lab attendance is not compulsory but go and you will thank yourself come Week 11 lab test.

A subject that is extremely dry in nature, but conceptually is not terribly difficult. If you put in the necessary work and stay relatively on top of things, you should do fairly well. I highly recommend doing the weekly tute sheets as this will help your understanding of the content. The best thing about the subject is that YaoBan is a memelord so listening to the lectures isn't as bad.
