Super easy. I ended up with a 98% on the assignment and almost every quiz I got was 4/4. I also only put 30 mins in each week (just read over the transcripts before the quiz), and put in some of my free time for the assignment. Ended the class with a 96%, easy WAM booster, just start the assignment early and read quizzes carefully!

assignment was fun. quizzes was okay pre easy most of the weeks but some of the quizzes were just way too difficult like barely anyone got over 2/4 for one of the weeks (from the people i've spoken to).

This subject was pretty chill. Just had to put in an hour or so each week to watch the mini lectures and complete the weekly quiz. Elly was a fun tutor and the weekly seminars were really fun and engaging. I recommend starting the end of semester essay early, so it would make exam season easier for you. Write the essay passionately, linking back to the concepts covered in your chosen topic's lectures and you will do well :)

Definitely an H1 (commerce student who is a terrible essay writer). Readings are no longer compulsory so you just have to watch 3 videos and answer 4 multiple choice questions each week. Maybe took 45 to 60 minutes each week so really quick subject. The essay only took me a day to write and is basically an impossible fail as long as you follow the rubric. Don't do it for the content (it is a bit interesting but you won't learn much), do it for the easy subject and high grade.

I did this class as a breadth subject because I had heard good things about it from friends and classmates. It was the first online uni class I had attended (prior to COVID) and it was very well organised. The weekly topics were divided evenly in difficulty and reading requirements. Definitely recommend as a breadth to take that won't distract from your main subjects' coursework.

I did this as breadth because I'm passionate about music and I'm studying health (biomed), but I didn't like it as much as I expected to. The content was not very engaging, and didn't seem super relevant to the assessment. You have to annotate readings online which is marked by a computer rather than an actual person, and the marking didn't seem very fair in my opinion (I didn't get any feedback as to why I was losing marks, so I kept losing marks each time since I didn't know what to improve on). The multiple choice questions are easy but so specific, you just have to search for key words in the video transcripts to find the answers. The essay is the major part of assessment. You have to make a playlist to address some aspect of health and then discuss why you chose each song by incorporating research. The online materials themselves seem quite distinct in each week, they don't flow much or build on knowledge. So, I'd recommend doing the essay early on, because you only really need to have seen the online materials from the topic you choose. Overall, it is an easy H1 and doesn't need much time (I only did about an hour a week before the essay) but I'd recommend doing another subject that would be more engaging and interesting.

Horrible since they brought in the readings that are automatically marked by an algorithm. Content is super dry and the essay marking was rather subjective, however that's what you can expect in this kind of subject.

Content was easy but a bit dry. The most important part is the final essay, I would recommend to start early (like way early I mean, I started more than one month before due date) and do more research before writing. Start early and finish early so you can focus on other subjects during final exam period. You can include outside resource and not required to link all the theory you learned in lectures to your essay. The writing would be way more easier if you did research and prepared drafts beforehand. H1 is easy!

Yeah easy subject, easy H1. I'd say this is like watching a Youtube series considering it's pretty much all done online. Best thing I got out of it was how to "research" papers and write an academic essay, which in that cases just take any other Arts subjects or something.

Content was interesting and lecturers were passionate. However, assessments were poorly explained and the final essay was marked very harshly without proper justification. I did its counterpart (music psychology) and absolutely loved that one (final grade was 90), but this was a massive disappointment.
