Score - 85 (H1) WAM BOOSTER SUBJECT. If you merge social and personality pyschology and music mind and wellbeing together it basically summarises this subject. I did this subject as anatomy major as my breadth and I personally really enjoyed this subject, its very reflective based on your own personal experiences and performances in you life and it doesn’t have to be musical, it can be anything, exam performance, sports etc and what you learn from these experiences. In my opinion it is much easier than music mind and wellbeing. The discussion worth 30% are pass or fail so you get 100% for just doing them. Make sure to read the instruction carefully (word limit is strict), submit before the deadline and be organised cause this will maximise your marks. Total of 6 discussion. Make sure you go above 200 words for you words, you will get 0 marks even it is 199 words and write like 100 words for each peer comment just to be sure. Reference not included in word count. Video 20% - I got 97% in this, make sure to follow the criteria to maximise your marks whenever you can for example show eye contact, hand gesture and visual cues. Mines was recorded powerpoint presentation. They key to doing well is to find pyschology frameworks or theories and apply it to your chosen performance (mine was oral presentation). You can discuss how your performance links to the framework or challenges it. The reflective commentary 50% - its 2000 words and its not a typical essay. Make sure to ustilise the DIEP model for your writing to understand the requirements with the rubric too. It’s super broad you can choose any topic like failure, success, practice. The instructions of the task is actually quite vague. I recommend choosing topics that’s covered by the weekly modules if you are stuck. I wrote about motivation and linked this to my current experience of academic grades and future desire to work in healthcare. The biggest tip is constantly emphasising your personal voice or opinion and embedding it throughout. . Make sure to reread it, follow APA referencing and formatting , basic things like grammar capital letter etc.
