This is genuinely the best subject in all of unimelb. Bryony is the best lecturer ever and is so incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, and fun!! She truly wants each student to do well and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels understood and cared for. The content in the lectures is really interesting and easy to understand. The subject is organised extremely well, and the assignments are very clearly explained. Doing well in this subject is super easy. The multiple choice tests are free marks since its open book, and the group project is barely challenging (its actually fun). What's also really amazing is that Bryony actively responds to the Ed Discussion and frequently puts out announcements to keep you updated and informed. Overall, you should do this subject even if you don't care much for neuroscience. I am an anatomy major and this was by far the best subject of my undergrad. WOULD RECOMMEND!!!

This is a relatively new subject but honestly out of my 3 years of undergrad, one of the most organised subjects I've taken. Bryony is genuinely passionate about the content and you can tell she's put a lot of effort into making it a good experience for students. There are 4 quizzes throughout the semester which keep you up to date with the material. The research lectures are interesting and it's a great opportunity to know what's actually happening in the field. 100% recommend, especially if majoring in neuroscience :)

The main lecturer was awesome and the subject should be pretty straightforward if you have done the principles of neuroscience subject well.
