As good as your hosting supervisor/lab is. I was lucky enough to have a great project that I was super interested in and a very supportive lab. Pros of doing PATH30004 over BIOM30003 are that your grade is slightly more broken down with some marks going towards self-reflection/participation and they give you a list of projects to choose from which is good if you're not keen on searching for something yourself. However, I found a project in the area I was passionate about and then asked for approval from Sophie to do it within the subject, which I would highly recommend as I was much more engaged with what I was studying.
