This subject giveth and it taketh away. It giveth critical skills, research skills, extended thesis planning and drafting skills, and the chance to network with academics. It also giveth anxiety and caffeine addiction. It taketh away mental health, sleep, and a healthy social schedule. A H1 Honours paper is not guaranteed and honestly not very easy to get. The narrow field and theory needed feels like you've condensed almost an entire Masters degree into a year. Do not do this if you want to do a Masters, it does nothing. Would only recommend if you want to get a PhD.
