this subject is coordinated and ran extremely well by bec. she is amazing. all the assignments are super fun (graphical abstracts and extended abstracts) and you get a TON of support on how to do well - every single workshop is INCREDIBLY useful. its a huge change from first year bio. the tiny 5 minute quizzes after each lecture are also so helpful as they stop you from getting behind - theyre only worth like 1% so its basically free 10% for your grade. the pracs are super fun, especially the feeding one, and every single lecturer (bec, theresa and shannon) is incredibly passionate and engaging. so much fun! i honestly thought it was quite an easy subject - there is a lot of content but it is very easy and you don't have to memorise much (its application based). we also got to take 1 a4 page of notes into the exam!!

this subject is sooooo hard don't do it unless you want a shit atar.

Rob Day is literally Satan. Sometimes in a good mood and willing to help, but mostly grumpy, terminally slow, error-prone and unwilling to provide assistance or correct mistakes. The wonderfully interesting content is marred by the way he designs the subject. The essay was ridiculously short and inconsistently marked. However, the MST and exam were fine, and the pracs were a lot of hands-on fun!

Although content-heavy, this subject had great pracs that will definitely help reinforce what you learn (especially for visual learners). Lecturers were extremely supportive and helpful.

Very interesting and diverse subject. Covers a huge amount of content. Great pracs helped with reinforcing theory. All of the lecturers were excellent.

This subject has a LOT of content to remember. The pracs can be interesting and involve quite a bit of drawing. Definitely not an easy subject though, it is important to stay on top of everything.
