Reviews

This course is well taught, and focuses on important Actuarial models. It is more of a mathematical/statistical course than an Actuarial one, however all theory is applied to Actuarial problems. The tutorials are the highlight of this course. They provide a good outlet for discussion of questions. I recommend that students taking this course try to stay on top of the tutorials and the R self-tutorials.

Everything is good about this course. If someone other than Ralph Stevens was the lecturer for this course, then it would be even better because it is so hard to understand Ralph's English.
