Just.. Just use the textbook and record the tutorial sessions. The theory isnt explained the best way so just learn through doing problems over and over. If you are lacking in understanding of differentiation and indice laws then watch some youtube videos. Also there are some good youtube videos on the subject that you can use. Other than that the lectures are really only useable as a reference/how to work through examples on your own. Just study for the quizzes and you'll do fine.

The textbook for this course is really easy to follow, and the course is structured in a very logical way. It's sufficiently challenging that it will keep most students engaged, however it is manageable with a good level of effort.

Had a really good tutor for this subject and the assessments were very leniently marked and the topics were easy to understand.

The difficulty depends greatly on which semester you choose. If you have Carlos, the course is 10x times harder. Very mathematical focus (mainly calculus from ECON1202). Do yourself a favour by brushing up your math before you enroll in this course.

Very math focused and it's extremely difficult depending on who you get as the lecturer in charge. Overall, if you have strong algebra, calculus (derivative), you should be ok. You don't learn many new topics but mostly the ones you study in ECON1101 with more math focus.

Easy wam booster if you can do basic math, at what I consider at a high school 2 unit level. Concepts were interesting, just a lot of people who can't do calculus to save their lives who got rekt.

Lectures couldve been more intteresting. Ease = 7/10. If you study for it, you should be ok. Easy credit/distinction.

Very, very dry concepts of everything micro-related. I really liked this subject because it was easy for me especially with the calculations because I was able to grasp the concepts in a week. Quizzes will solidify your understanding of the topics learnt. If you have no trouble at applying the concepts and calculations then you should not fear this course as it is taught harshly/rigorously but can be very rewarding to those who actually understand the material.
