This subject is essentially an expansion of the second half of ECON205, with slightly less maths but many more diagrams to deal with. After introducing the concept of money, ECON301 goes through the operation of the real and monetary sectors under the Classical, Keynesian, and Monetarist schools of thought. The second half of the subject explores the conduct of monetary policy, inflation, and finally, money in the open economy. As for the assessments, you better bring your 'A' game to the exams and also the presentation, as the person who teaches this subject marks very harshly. Best of luck!
