Reviews

The name of this subject is quite misleading, as it actually explores the evolution of the Australian economy throughout the last 300 years or so, and appears to stop in about the early 1990s. In basic terms, this is more of a history subject than an economics subject, as it requires a lot of reading from a variety of sources. The assessments for this subject require a lot of preparation, particularly the group presentation and the in-class essay. If you don't like maths, consider this subject as it has almost no maths in it. If you don't like reading upwards of 40 to 50 pages per week, steer clear of this subject, and consider ECON316 (History of Economic Thought) instead.
