Ethical debates are interesting and learning about the law and misconduct is fascinating. We studied real cases and discussed why it was wrong and applied it to nursing theory. This was my favourite subject of first semester.

This subject became repetitive towards the end. The classes were shorter than the others.

Interesting subject with kind and knowledgeable tutors & subject coordinator. Very engaging & enjoyable content that can be used on placement.

The content of the subject is a little dry, but the ethical debates are very interesting, especially in view of other peoples perception of morals. Get to know the textbook! Overall you don't really need to memorise but more understand and apply information appropriately in exams and assessments. The assessment was not very specific so get to know what your tutor wants and don't be afraid to ask if your doing it right.

This subject is thought-provoking and I enjoyed the ethical debates. It will be interesting to see how well the content applies in a practical setting.
