An excellent class! This has been my most enjoyable class to date, especially with the quality banter Dr. Yancy Orr provides during lectures. The class itself challenges you to rethink everything you have ever learnt about the environment and the relationship people have with it.

I took this class in Semester 1 2015 with Yancey Orr, who is an awesome lecturer though I'm not sure that he will be teaching it anymore. The content is awesome, makes you think on a deep level about human environment interactions. The big assessment was an essay on the topic of your choosing (related to human-environment interactions), which allows you to really get into the subject by choosing something you're interested in. There's a mid-semester and final exam, as well as marks for tute participation.
