I really enjoyed this course! Louise Ainscough is a great lecturer and she explains the physiology very well. There is a lot of content so it is important that you keep on top of the work and don't fall behind or else you'll have a lot to do in SWOTVAC. Olga explained the anatomy very well (as long as you could understand her accent). The content was always interesting and they went through the body in a very logical process. They didn't go too deep into each system, sticking to the most important anatomical and physiological parts where they could have gone into greater detail. Personally, I am very happy that they did that as it is only a first year course and there was already a lot to learn as we covered a lot of the body. Overall, a very good course that I always looked forward to.

BIOM1052 really gives you insight of every system in your body. You'll gain understanding of how your body systems work, how they interact with each other to perform specific tasks. It's interesting as you know more and more knowledgeable info about your body that you're curious when you're young when you learn the course gradually.

A very interesting course with excellent and funny lecturers. The course workload is quite heavy, segmented into different systems of the human body, however, the PASS leaders are really helpful if you need any help. The pracs are extremely easy and the metalearning tasks are easy points. The most exciting part of this course is the opportunity to see, touch and feel a real human cadaver. You really learn a lot from this experience and majority of what you learn looks different from textbook drawings!
