Strong intro course to chemistry. Anyone with a background of high school chem will likely enjoy and excel at this course!

Fun and interesting basic chemistry course: 100% recommended!

It was a really great subject in helping student understanding the basic of chemistry in a fun way. A little bit of self-study needed but overall it is a really good course.

Quite a content heavy course but can be passes easy if you put the effort in. Some prior chemistry knowledge would be very helpful.

I was very happy that the first module was not covered in the final exam as I found this module the hardest of all of them. The content was very interesting, but there was a lot to learn overall.

I love the CROMs. It's quite easy to fall behind on the lectures but the weekly CROMs make sure you catch up by the end of each week (because it quizzes you on the content of the week's lectures so you're forced to catch up!)

This course has very interesting content, that can be a little challenging if you don't stay ontop of it. It helps to have a little (very little) bit of knowledge of basic thermodynamics, but if you don't the course is totally manageable. The weekly CROMs helped you stay ontop of what was being learned that week, and gave you a decent opportunity to work on equations and find out where you went wrong with the handy feedback system. Overall a good subject with great lecturers.

I really found that this course enabled me to finally understand everything I learnt in high school chemistry! While the first module was perhaps a bit challenging and more like physics, it was a good foundation to the rest of the course (and CHEM1200). The PASS classes were really good too and helped me a lot to understand the concepts!

A very easy and intuitive course. It's just a little too big so you'll probably need some friends or attend PASS class to get your questions answered.

Fantastic Basics of Chemistry. 100% go for it!
