This is indeed a difficult course. Econometrics involves a new way of thinking and doing things and I would say it is maths-heavy and the final exam requires a lot of memorizing models that need to be used to answer question. Be consistent with your preparation to do well. The average mark for the mid semester usually hovers around 50 marks out of 100. Would actually suggest not taking it up unless it's a compulsory course or you are very interested in the field.

Introductory applied econometric course for students with basic economic statistics background. Topics covered include: economic models & role of econometrics, linear regression, general linear model, hypothesis testing, specification testing, dummy variables, models with endogenous regressors, panel data models, simple dynamic models and simple cointegration models. Practical problems are solved using EViews or equivalent econometrics program. Best

Very difficult. Try to avoid if you are not dedicated enough. :)

Very difficult course and lots of material covered. Even though tutorials focussed on Eviews make sure to follow them carefully as the hypothesis tests etc. will come up again in the exams.

Very interesting (but quite hard) course. Prof. is EXTREMELY helpful :)
