There should be more guidance towards the assignments certainly. I did thoroughly enjoy learning the course materials and it was carried out very well and taught well. It's weird that the final assignment is not based on anything we learnt directly but rather an application of what we learnt to a law reform question on a completely new area. It was man traps in 2017 sem 2 and torture provision in 2018 sem 1.

A fascinating and well structured course. The assessments can be difficult in that the marking criteria is incredibly strict on not only understanding all the issues present in scenario but also presenting the appropriate authority. Andreas is a fantastic and made me look forward to attending lectures.

Andreas makes the lectures fun and interactive. Structure of the course focuses on using current legislation to formulate an approach to answer hypothetical situations, rather than wrote-learning the law as it stands.
