Public International Law is, in my opinion, one of the best law electives available at UQ. The course content is interesting and delivered by Anthony Cassamatis incredibly well and in a way that makes understanding the complex subject matter easy. The subject covers a large amount of content, which is all assessable on the exam. This means there is a lot of reading involved. The assignment involved a large amount of individual research, as the topics were only touched upon in lectures and tutorials. This is a very worthwhile subject, although it requires some hard work. Lectures are recorded and Anthony's lecture notes are incredibly comprehensive. Going to tutorials is also highly advisable as these involve questions similar to exam questions.
