Overall, the course is good. There might be some familiar concepts and some new ones. Course staff are really friendly and are happy to help with anything. Just make sure to start the assignments early and keep up with notetaking for the subject. Generally easy to score if you don't neglect it. Be as attentive as possible when it is around the time of the Everest Simulation week. The subject won't seem as much in the beginning but it has quite a bit of work involved.

Content heavy, however if you write notes on every seminar and module lecture, you will pass with very high marks. The seminars are important for the tutorial marks. Most people that did not do well in the assignment appeared to not read assignment instructions in depth. The assignments have all article resources for the assignment provided. The time you would spend researching for a normal assignment should be spent breaking down the concepts in depth.

cool subject, quite heavy content but an okay pace

This course was quite interesting and the tutorial exercises were well designed to ensure easy marks. However, it was quite content heavy for a first year course.

This course seemed so "vegetable" until the final exam came through and bashed my face with an eggplant.

I really didn't like this course, I thought the Everest simulation was a good experience but to then base the assignment around it was a little strange I think. It's fine as an introductory management subject and isn't particularly challenging due to the staggered tutorial assessment.

This subject has moments of being a bit 'dry' but also is very good to get a good understanding on the world of management and even business in general. The lecturer goes through the assignment well and the assignment overall seems very 'university-like' in layman's terms, so is a good introduction to what standards are expected. It is quite content heavy so knowing concepts is super important, but it isn't extremely 'memorization' heavy when it comes to the EOS exam, so understanding these concepts and being able to apply them is important. Overall, a good course for first years.

Well structured course. Coordinator extremely clear in her explanations and examples. Lectures don't usually drag on. Assessment designed to pass first years. Nice intro to university research assignments
