This was the second part of the Intro to Pharmacy course in the second semester. Second semester is meant to have more content. I find that is a pattern every year for every course, however this course was not challenging because the tutors and staff are very helpful and will only quiz/ test you on what they have brought in class and tutorials. Be sure to always go to the tutorials. In this course you get a 3-4 hour placement to just watch what it is like to work in a community pharmacy (fun!)

Finally we're actually learning something about pharmacy! This course gives you a great overview of the most common complaints in a pharmacy and how to deal with them. You learn a lot about the most commonly sold drugs and it's a good foundation for further learning. The business module was a bit of a drag but it was only three lectures and I could see why it was necessary. A great course, I just wish we had Jacqui because the Falcon was a terrible lecturer

PHRM1012 is more intense than PHRM1011, but once you get used to it, you realise PHRM1011 is nothing haha. This time for the assessment, there are definitely more potential scenarios for the oral exam compared to PHRM1011, but it really prepares you for working as a pharmacy student working in a pharmacy. Learning everything was enjoyable and there was a mix between dosage calculations to sales management to medications and diseases.
