PHRM2021 is all about practicals! You get to make your own drugs which is pretty cool! Make sure you read the manual before you go in, it helps you to understand what is happening in the lab and how you should proceed with your lab works. However make sure you read your theories because mostly theories are assessed in the finals.

This subject was pretty good. The solubility and pH/buffer lectures were quite simple and resembled CHEM1100/1222. The pracs were alright and you could leave early if you finished early. It's best to read the manual before it so you know what you're doing and save time..however...most people still don't know what to do after anyways hahaha. The lecturers go through some sample MCQ questions during the lectures throughout the semester which was great as well. There is only one exam and that is the end-of-semester exam which weighed a huge amount (70% I think) so make sure you study hard for that exam, because a small mistake may cost you a lot of %. Plus prac content is assessed in the final exam as well and they changed it so it's all MCQ and no more SAQ. Overall, it isn't lecture heavy compared to BIOM2009 or PHRM2011 so it's pretty good.
