Great course that re-hashes quite a bit of high school physics but sets you up with the good fundamentals to continue physics, or reinforce your grounding in the subject. Lecturers are engaging and the course's focus on active learning (in-class clickers and reading quizzes are a big component) keep you engaged with the course content so you don't fall behind.

High school physics and then some. Takes you through the basics of Newtonian physics, fluid mechanics, phase changes and basic wave theory. Emphasis on problem solving and how to approach problems. A wide area of focus can make pose some difficulty, as many different topics are touched on during the course.

A really fun course. Got to understand lots of both intuitive and counterintuitive physical phenomena. Lecturers are enthusiastic and students got to participate in each lecture. If they could extend the lecture hours that would be fantastic. Have fun!
