At the time I took this course it felt like it was in the works - the lecturer while competent was not experienced with the course and as a result the lectures initially fell behind the assignments and were not as well structured/time managed as they could be, which was stressful in a course that is quite technically challenging. In retrospect this was a great introduction to quantum and covered all the basics, but at the time of taking it in your physics degree, it is is very demanding and the weekly assignments take far longer than they feel they should (as do the readings, which you definitely need to keep up with as often in-text examples will be drawn upon for assignment questions). It takes persistence, but a thorough grounding in this course is necessary to succeed in third and even fourth year quantum.
