Reviews
This course is pretty basic. Textbook readings were useful for those new to these topics but extremely obvious and repetitive for those with any knowledge in the area. A reasonable course overall.

This was a good course - it helped me better understand Australia's political system and current political developments in our country. For this course, the textbook is essential, as it goes into lecture material in more depth.

While this is an important subject to get a grounding in how politics is run in Australia, most of it is pretty basic stuff that you would have learned in high school - or even primary school. Don't bother buying the textbook - the lecturer wrote it, and all the slides are pretty much just chunks of the relevant textbook verbatim.
