Reviews
5 stars due to the ease! Content was decently interesting, but not a favourite subject per se. Very easy assessment though
Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018
This was such an interesting subject to study, even for someone who isn't studying psychology as a degree. The assessment was all fairly easy, and there isn't even an end of semester exam! I found my lecturers to be very engaging, and the tutorials were also very interesting. Overall a very good course to study in first year.

PSYC1020 is a very interesting subject that is easy to complete no matter what year you're in or course you're studying. Content is heavy but manageable if given the time. The essay is walked through step by step and is very quick to complete and get a good mark. Overall a good course.

Really interesting
Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018
A brief intro to some of the concepts in cognitive and biological/neuro psychology. Mandatory for those majoring in Psych. Great lecturers (John McLean and Ross Cunnington) and interesting content.

Easy introductory course, there will be challenging elements to the course material if you haven't ever studied biology but a high school level of biological understanding is enough to get you through this solid first year course.

Standard first year subject

I enjoyed the context but some the delivery of the information was dry.

Another easy elective. The final exam is 72 MCQ question. As long as you just turn up to the lectures and listen, the final exam is a breeze. The lecturers are really fun and engaging

Excellent subject
