Reviews

Hugely engaging lectures designed to stimulate learning and recall. The assessment items are excellent and applied, and are clearly designed with the intention of storing the content in long-term memory. Smart application of the concepts learned in the lecture!

Mark does a fantastic job of teaching this course, full of interesting metaphors, relevant comparisons, slide animations, mini-quizzes, and student engagement through the lecture, all of which really help to cement the more dull content. There was a significant overlap between the information taught in this course and what was taught in PSYC3010, PSYC2010, and PSYC3042, which I found good to cement knowledge but also led to a lot of content being dry as it has been previously learnt. Thankfully Mark has done a fantastic job at making the course what it is, with his enthusiastic lectures and weekly assessment rather than an end of semester exam, I found this subject to be far better than it could have been.

Couldn't get a better lecturer than Jo!!

Would have given 1 star if it wasn't for Mark. Great lecturer. Unfortunately I found the course extremely boring and a tad unnecessary. We had already learned most of the material in PSYC2010. Was not impressed at all. Mark was great though!
