Really boring subject, markings were confusing. The weekly workshops don't actually give you any feedbacks. Literally just waste 2 hours per week. Would not recommend

A great introductory course to public health (certainly better than PUBH1102). The majority (if not all) of the lecture contents are covered in the weekly workbook activities and discussed in the tutorials. I wouldn't recommend attending them or watching them, but simply just skim over the lecture slides prior to the quizzes. The assessment are pretty interesting (particularly the final one) and very engaging. The only negative is that each weekly tutorial goes for 2 hours, a lot of which is spent just sitting around.

Workload is fairly light and assessments are relatively easy. A great introduction to public health systems and policies.

A good way to get basic public health knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the health system of Australia and other countries. It covers the social determinants of health well.

A pretty boring course. Don't bother with the lectures as you have to cover everything in pre-readings for the workbooks anyway. The assignments are all based on independent study of set texts as well and you only have a week or so to do them so you can't really get much help either.

An ok subject, material can sometimes be dry but the lecturers realise this and jazz it up a bit! Make sure you don't miss any tutorials, workbooks or quizzes!
