A lot of content and new concepts but if you keep up with the weekly content it is easy to get great marks.

Loved this course! The edX was godsend, I ignored the lectures because they were remarkably dull, and the ethics unit was really well done. Having a good tutorial group makes it so much more enjoyable too. I found the content really interesting and was a nice extension of the stat components of Year 12 specialist and methods statistics covered. Also getting rejected by virtual people was really humbling

A slightly difficult course at first, but once it clicks it's quite easy. We could take the textbook (annotated) into the final exam, which made it super easy to get full marks. Definitely would recommend getting a tutor though if you don't initially understand the content

Quite a difficult course in my opinion. Teaches some interesting concepts and is very useful for science degrees. However, it does take a lot of mental energy, googling and time to understand the concepts.

I found the content slightly hard to learn with the way it was delivered (online Edge module). I found that you need to read over a section multiple times to actually be able to understand what it is talking about. Overall a useful introduction to statistics, but I found it was much easier to study from past exams that the actual online modules.

This is a really good fundamental course. But I would recommend the 2nd year stats relevant to your field (i.e. BIOL2006) if you want to actually be able to comprehensively do statistics. Overall, the material is very dry and your experience will really vary depending on how good your tutor is at explaining things.

Concepts taught are very useful but overall the course is very dull. Easy enough to learn the exam from past finals without watching lectures.

Delivery of the lectures was quite dull, gets boring sometimes if you're not interested in statistics. Have to make sure that you fully understand the materials before you carry on.
