Was held by Dirk Kroese when I took it, and if he holds the course, it is worth doing just because of that. Dirk is an absolute legend who is very active on Ed, gives complete and well laid out answers, and who has fully typed notes for this course, outside of which you will not need anything. Plenty of past papers and tutorial sheet questions are actually indicative of what will be on the exam. We were also allowed a double-sided A4 cheat sheet for the final. As of the writing of this review, this is probably my favourite course so far.

You have no choice but to attend the lectures as stuffs on the whiteboard are not recorded! Kind of bad sometimes especially when you have a clash with other classes, but Phil is pretty good at teaching though he expects quite a lot from the students.
