It's a well structured course going into histology. Really good to do for an anatomy/histology major and useful for health related degrees later on down the track. Would recommend.

Nicely set up, organised course and a good introduction to anatomy. A decent amount of content to memorise (like many other anatomy units) and good to prep for future subjects. Really good for when going into medicine!

Nice, slow introduction to histology. Compared to other biology units, this unit has much less content. Attending the pracs was really good with gaining skills in microscopy and asking tutors for clarification. Found it really good to do alongside other ANAT and PHSI units.

Prac book isn't graded, really enjoyed the prac sessions. No stress if start memorising the content 2 weeks before the exam.

Interesting if you like biology. Final exams weren’t too challenging and there’s only 3 assessments (mid sem, prac final and theory final). Not as many contact hours as some other biology subjects which made it less demanding. If you’re not a big biology or science fan I wouldn’t take it, could get boring.

Interesting unit! Good to have under your belt for third year biology based units. It's good to learn alonside other physiology and anatomy units.

Really interesting subject, a large amount of content to memorize but if you are interested it should be okay.

Very useful and interesting subject, especially in Medicine, but the content can be quite dense and unnecessary at times.

ANAT2008 was really enjoyable in hindsight. I felt as though the tutorials were quite difficult because they tutors would race through everything before people left after the first hour and it was just difficult to identify the tissues. I only fully understood everything during stuvac when I took the time to go over everything myself because there was just so much content during the semester

Really enjoyable and interesting. Great intro to anat, and gives invaluable graduate attributes.
