BANK3011 is a very interesting subject which gives perspective on the enviornment and challenges financial institutions must balance to become profitable. Highly reccomend!

Pretty good subject. Not too difficult. Group assignment and final exam were challenging but good. Manageable subject to study, content is easy to follow. A fair bit of maths involved although nothing too difficult. Would recommend.

Good overview of institutional risk management. Nice balance between calculations and theory. I would have liked to see more correlation between the assignments and the actual lecture content, but, overall, fair assessments. I wouldn't recommend it if you have previously done Derivative Securities, as it might feel like an overlap. Rather, I would recommed to do it in the same semester as Investment and Portfolio Management. Great combo.
