This's where I met the WORST lecturer EVER - Mark Melatos. Lack of communication and presentation skills. Terrible handwriting. Messy lecture content. LOTS of incomprehensible algebra and diagrams. Check the uos beforehand to see if he's the lecturer, if yes, DON'T TAKE THIS.

It is a great course, which was organised very well. We did look at different trade models, as well as migration, trade with monopolistic competition, outsourcing, trade policy (tariffs, quotas, subsidies, strategic trade policy) and international trade agreements, to explain trade patterns and phenomena in real life. Some interesting real-world examples are in the lecture notes, which complemented the theory. Susana is an outstanding lecturer, who explains the content exceptionally clearly, and would selflessly answer any questions we had if something was a little unclear. Tutorial questions are well chosen from the textbook, and sometimes there was an additional harder question, but it was fine! There was an optional quiz to help us prepare for the mid-term and final, and the 300 word optional essay summary was a piece of cake. Susana did an awesome job with the course, so thank you!
