A largely theoretical course with some calculations done in insurance. Group assignment easy to get good marks. Overall a good subject, the course content can be messy sometimes, but is straightforward enough for examinable range.

This course has a new lecturer! So ignore the comments below. She is incredibly nice and the class is a lot of fun :) She also lets you collab with other students on the assignment, which makes it enjoyable and easy.

THE WORST CLASS I'VE EVER DONE- lecturer is a complete sadist who gets joy out of unfairly failing and mocking students. I was personally targeted by him throughout the semester, and he totally ruined my last semester at uni. Avoid at all costs.

Unit material is fine but lecturer is awful. Don Wright has absolutely ruined my experience. He is condescending and when approached for help he is unwilling and unhelpful.

One of the most interesting subjects offered. But completely ruined by the lecturer. He is extremely patronising, unhelpful and spiteful. The examinations are an unfair judgement of ones knowledge. I regret taking this subject.

Interesting subject. Pretty tricky. Shame the lecturer is a total ass and ruins it. Explains concepts terribly, easily frustrated and condescending.
